Jay Hennessey, Vice President of Learning & Development
Jay Hennessey is in his seventh season with the Cleveland Guardians serving as Vice President of Learning and Development for Baseball Operations.  In this role, Jay serves as a resource for leaders at all levels to continuously improve through Learning & Development initiatives.

Prior to joining the Guardians, Jay served 25 years in the United States Navy.  Jay finished his career as Commodore of the Naval Special Warfare Center in Coronado CA, overseeing the selection, training, and qualification for Navy SEALS and Special Warfare Combatant Craft Crewman before retiring from the Navy in 2018 as a Navy Captain.  Jay and his wife, Jessica, reside in Westlake, Ohio with their four children.
