Emily Heaphy is an Associate Professor of Management and John F. Kennedy Faculty Fellow in the Isenberg School of Management. Her professional expertise is in interpersonal relationships at work, with a particular focus on how individuals and organizations can build positive work relationships; how and why work relationships influence human flourishing; and how individuals in organizations can accomplish challenging, emotional tasks through relationships. She has published numerous academic and practitioner articles on these topics with colleagues from around the world. Professor Heaphy co-founded a thriving micro-community of scholars called Positive Relationships at Work, which is dedicated to the research, practice, and teaching of positive relationships in the workplace. She has received four teaching awards, including the 2021 Isenberg College Outstanding Teaching Award.
